Στην κοπιώδη πορεία τού δεηθώμεν
τα μεγάλα κεριά προχωρούν,
τα κεριά της δραχμής μένουν πίσω.
Τα μικρά κεριά κουράζονται εύκολα,
λυγίζουν και διεκτραγωδούν
το αντίτιμο τους.
Η ανισότης των κεριών
αναλιώνει μυσταγωγικά.
Ο θεός τους ο νεωκόρος
τα ρίχνει στον Καιάδα της ανατήξεως.
